37191 at Scarborough in 1985 on a  special from Scotland. It carried this name for only a year.

 

 

Class 5, 5305 arriving at  Scarborough at Christmas 1981on a York-Hull-Scarborough  Railtour. 

  

4468, Mallard arriving at Scarborough on a test run from York.  25th March 1986. Scarborough Council contributed much of the funds required to restore  this famous locomotive in time for it to celebrate  the 50th Anniversary of breaking the world speed record which was set on July 3rd 1938.    

 

 

 

The very first H. S. T. to depart  Scarborough on 22-04-1978.

 

 

The famous signal gantry at Seamer West, Scarborough was replaced with colour light signals in the summer of 2000. A class 150/2 passes en-route from York in 1989.

This train is arriving from Darlington, via the Whitby line, to Scarborough on the 14th August 1954 

 

Class 67 in Scarborough 67018 taken on the 8th January 2001 on a crew training diagram, one of the first visits by this class of loco to Scarborough.

The 08 in the tunnel is an inspection train checking the overall condition of the tunnel.
